2、 Product characteristics
1. Service conditions
Cable laying temperature: ≥ 0 ℃;
Maximum allowable long-term working temperature of cable conductor: PVC insulation: 70 ℃, XLPE insulation: 90 ℃;
The maximum working temperature of the cable in case of short circuit (max. 5S): XLPE insulation 250 ℃; PVC insulation, sectional area ≤ 300mm ²， 160 ℃, sectional area greater than 300mm ²， 140℃；
The minimum allowable bending radius of the cable: single core without armor 20d, single core with armor 15d, three core without armor 15d, three core with armor 12D. Note: D is the actual outer diameter of the cable.
2. Structural requirements
The basic structure of 6-35kV aluminum alloy core extruded insulated power cable is composed of conductor, insulating layer and protective layer.
1) Conductor
The conductor is twisted with aluminum alloy wire, which meets the requirements of gb/t 3956-2008 standard. Conductor is the conductive part of power cable, which is used to transmit electric energy.
2) Insulation
PVC or XLPE extrusion is used for insulation. Electrically isolate the wire core from the earth and wire cores of different phases to ensure power transmission.
3) Outer sheath
The outer sheath is PE or PVC, and can also provide flame retardant, anti termite, low smoke and low halogen flame retardant, low smoke and zero halogen flame retardant and other materials according to customer requirements. The function is to protect the power cable from the invasion of external impurities and moisture, and to prevent external forces from directly damaging the power cable.
